Counselling and Psychotherapy in a safe, comfortable and private setting

Life brings many challenges, and it is understandable that at times we might look for support in facing them. My role as a psychotherapist is to provide a safe space and facilitate you on your journey of self-discovery, enabling you to examine life and make meaningful choices within.

My Approach to Psychotherapy & Counselling

I am a UKCP-registered integrative and transpersonal psychotherapist, holding a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education in London.

Sharing your story is a deeply personal journey. In our work together, you will be met with care, empathy, respect. Drawing on integrative, transpersonal, humanistic, existential, psychodynamic, and Jungian approaches, I tailor the therapeutic process to your unique needs, meeting you exactly where you are.

In the words of Albert Einstein, "Creativity is intelligence having fun." I bring this philosophy into the therapy room, helping clients reconnect with their authentic selves in a safe, supportive, and encouraging space.

Together, we will create an environment where your experiences can be explored at your own pace — safely, thoughtfully, and with deep respect for your individual journey.

Integrative Psychotherapy & Counselling to Reconnect with Your Soul Nature

As a UKCP-registered integrative and transpersonal psychotherapist, I offer a deeply explorative and creative approach to therapy. My work is rooted in Jungian concepts, humanistic therapy, and the rich world of archetypal imagery. I believe that therapy is a journey—a space where you can uncover hidden parts of yourself, reconnect with your soul nature, and navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and self-awareness.

Through a blend of talking therapy and creative exploration, I help clients make sense of their inner world, work through past wounds, and cultivate a deeper sense of authenticity and wholeness. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, life transitions, self-doubt, or a sense of disconnection, our work together can provide insight, healing, and transformation.

I integrate a variety of therapeutic techniques to tailor each session to the unique needs of my clients. Above all, I offer a safe, supportive, and compassionate space where you can explore, heal, and grow at your own pace.

Some frequently asked questions

What is UKCP Registered?

Being UKCP registered means I am a fully qualified psychotherapist recognised by the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). The UKCP is a professional body that sets high standards for the training, practice, and ethics of psychotherapists in the UK.

To be registered with the UKCP, I have completed rigorous training, ongoing professional development, and I adhere to strict ethical guidelines and best practices in therapy. Being UKCP registered provides assurance to clients that I meet these high professional standards and that my practice is regularly reviewed to maintain the best care.

Is psychotherapy the same as counselling?

Counselling typically focuses on short-term work, often addressing a specific issue over several weeks or months, with an emphasis on the present life situation.

Psychotherapy, however, tends to be longer-term, exploring deeper emotional patterns and the impact of early life experiences.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions varies depending on the individual and the issues being addressed. Most of my work is long-term, though I am happy to discuss short-term counselling if that suits you better.

At the start, we’ll agree on an initial number of sessions (usually 6 to 8). At the end of this period, we will review your progress and decide on the next steps. Ultimately, the length of therapy is up to you and should continue as long as it remains beneficial.

What is your cancellation policy?

I require 3 days' notice via email for any cancellations. If you cancel with less than 3 days' notice or miss a session, the full fee will be charged.

While I understand there are times when you may need to cancel or take breaks, therapy requires consistency and commitment. This means agreeing to regular sessions, providing a dedicated space for exploration.

What kind of therapist are you?

I am an integrative transpersonal counsellor and psychotherapist. As an integrative therapist, I draw on a variety of approaches, including:

  • Psychodynamic: Examining how unconscious patterns and past experiences, particularly from childhood, influence current relationships and emotions.
  • Humanistic: Focusing on the innate drive to realise potential and become one’s true self, with an emphasis on authenticity, empathy, and warmth.
  • Existential: Addressing fundamental life questions such as freedom, responsibility, death, and meaning.
  • Transpersonal: Taking a holistic approach to explore the transcendent and spiritual aspects of human experience, with a particular focus on transpersonal methods.

What are your qualifications?

I hold a Foundations in Counselling & Psychotherapy Certificate and a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education (CCPE) in London.

I also have professional insurance and substantial clinical experience, having worked with diverse client groups in a variety of settings, including:

  • CCPE Clinic, London
  • Women and Health Camden
  • Met Police Community Training Programme (lecturing on PTSD and internalised misogyny)
  • Islington Crisis Response Team
  • The Caravan Counselling Service, St James, London
  • Maytree Suicide Respite Centre, London
